The Grew Bancroft Foundation offers a 4-year undergraduate scholarship to Japanese students at US liberal arts college. It is named after Joseph C. Grew, US Ambassador to Japan (1932-42) and Edgar A. Bancroft, US Ambassador to Japan (1924-25) with a mission to foster friendly US-Japan relationships through students exchange. For almost 100 years, over 200 scholars have graduated from prestigious colleges and currently 41 students are enrolled. The foundation is known for its strong belief in the value of liberal arts college education and its active alumni network. Please help us empower future leaders of Japan through education in the US.
